(Rumor has it that Kirby Puckett caught an 11 lb walleye on Maple a few years back!)  There are 2 public accesses, and a large public beach nearby. 

Maple Lake has easy access from either Hwy 55 or I-94, and is in the "Heart of the Lakes" area - well known for diverse recreational options including: fishing / hunting, water sports, golf, shopping, biking & hiking, flea markets, antique shops, summer "concerts in the park", rodeos & more. Something for everyone!
