Your journey to this comfortable cabin in the woods is the first promise of a delightful family experience. The Summer Cottage places you on Bass Lake - one of Annandale's cleanest bodies of water. The family will enjoy splashing in the water on the hard sand bottom, or just lounging in the shade overlooking the lake on a hot day. In the evening you will have great fun sitting on the beach sharing "fish stories" around the fire pit. This is "up-north-charm" at its best - and just an hour from the cities. The lake is just out the back door. The cabin is finished in knotty-pine, and decorated with a "fisherman's" motif. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other with bunk beds. A futon is also available for the overnight guest. The spacious 3-season porch has sliding glass doors on the lake-side, great for watching the kids by day and catching the lake breeze at night. Please - no smoking or pets in this rental. You will be most impressed with the clarity of the water at the Summer Cottage. The day we took these pictures - we counted dozens of bass and pan fish hanging just off the dock. Where is the fishing pole when you need it! Come experience the best of Bass Lake in Annandale's "Heart of the Lakes" area.
