This quaint cottage promises a delightful lake experience on this "secret" lake. Just 30 miles from the Twin Cities, this rental combines convenience to the cities with a peaceful lake retreat atmosphere. Lake Mary is roughly 200 acres and accessible from Hwy. 6 (north/south) running between Howard Lake and Winsted. There are a limited number of homes on the lake - which provides the renter with a very peaceful get-away.

The kids will enjoy splashing and playing games on the hard sand bottom or catching the endless quantity of pan fish from the dock. The lake is known for crappies, bass and northern. You will appreciate that the lake is spring-fed and has some of the best clarity in the area. The lot is level, with 8 steps leading down from yard to dock. Pull up a chair on the dock and enjoy the scenery, including a western "sunset view".

This two bedroom cottage is small but very comfortable. It has an ample deck facing the lake, and a 30x10 screen porch for evening activities or those rainy days (heaven forbid). The kitchen and living room is open and done in knotty pine. The bedrooms have a queen bed in one and bunk beds in the other. A second bunk bed is available upon request. The cabin has window air - it does not have laundry capabilities.
